Boo! Halloween is coming!

Halloween is just around the corner! Anyone doing anything spooky or fun? I know my family is going to be throwing the kids [nieces, nephews, & their friends] a Halloween party.

I'm in charge of the game. I'm thinking of doing the following games:

- A Treasure hunt [candy being the treasure], since I'll be dressed as a pirate this year.
- Some kind of "Pin The Tail On The Donkey" [of course it'll be more Halloween themed] game.
- A costume contest. I think I'll make it so everyone wins a prize. The kids are rather young, & I don't want anyone feeling bad.

My younger sister is in charge of decorations. I'm not sure what she'll have in mind. There are many ways to decorate for a Halloween party.

- There are silly string or anything you can find that looks like spider webs.
- Arts & crafts never fail. You can make insects, pumpkins, witches, ect.
- Pumpkin painting. That could always be fun. I've personally never done that before, but I bet it's a hit for the kiddies, or anyone who likes to get creative. :)

I think it'd be fun to let the kids that live with us help out with the decorations. They'd love it & can be pretty creative.

I was surfing around the web & found these.

This could be of help for people who throw kid parties often. Maybe you're a parent, guardian, or relative. Or you just work with kids for a living. It's always good to have ideas. Heck, I'm still trying to come up with game ideas.

Discover How To Host A Great Kid Party!

See, the cool thing about kid parties, is you can take most ideas & turn them into something that fits the theme of your party. For example, instead of "Pin The Tail On The Donkey", I may use "Pin The Witch On The Broom". Most ideas could probably work if you just think of different ways to use them.

Also, this is for anyone interested in painting pumpkins:

Easy Pumpkin Painter

Yep, I'm definitely a beginner, so I'd need it to be easy lol. I can't draw let alone paint. But atleast I can admit it. Now my brother-in-law could probably do this, or my sister's boyfriend. They're both pretty good with drawing. I bet my 8 year old nephew could probably do this as well. He's a very creative kid, & can pretty much do anything he puts his mind to. I think it'd be a hit with all of the kids though. They love to paint.

But then again, you can paint anything you want to on a pumpkin. It doesn't have to be a work of art.

That's about it. Just throwing out some Halloween ideas, based on what my loved ones & I will be doing. I hope you all enjoy your Halloween!
